Churchill and District Community Association
Churchill & District Community Association (CDCA) is an active, not-for-profit, community organisation that provided a forum for residents to participate in local affairs, voice relevant concerns and opinions on local issues and have an input into the appropriate development of Churchill.
CDCA welcomes new members, new ideas and constructive enthusiasm from all groups and residents in the Churchill & District Community. Anyone interested in joining CDCA is welcome to attend our meetings or contact us for further information.
CDCA Committee meets at least four times per year and conducts some business electronically. At least two General Meetings are held annually, one of which is the Annual General Meeting. Committee elections are held at the AGM and Office Bearers are appointed by the Committee at its first meeting. The AGM is held in August or September each year. CDCA sometimes conducts Open Forums, including Guest Speaker presentations, regarding matters relevant to the local community.
New Project:
In 2017 CDCA received funding from FRRR to engage a consultant to develop a strategy to assist CDCA become a more viable and sustainable organisation for the future. The Final Report from the Consultant may be downloaded (below).
It should be noted that CDCA, having received the Consultant's Report, is now considering what recommendations may be adopted and the development of an Action Plan for implementation.
